No more excuses.
We've hit a couple of production hitches for the last episode (mainly SPX, they take a while).
So the next episode (and final one of Season 1) will be live sometime next week.

SuperTwins! is a comedic web series about Karin and Kai, super hero fraternal twins who are trying to make a comeback of sorts.

The series premieres October 6, 2011.

Our lovely intern, Jessica did this interview with Karin.

Karin:  Does my hair look ok?
Yes.  And it doesn't matter.  No one can see you.

Karin:  Devil is in the details.
What?

Karin:  Nothing. 
Okay...

(Awkward silence.)

Karin:  Go ahead!  Ask questions!  Sorry, I didn't mean to shout!

You are pretty driven.  Do you have hobbies?
Karin:  Let the record show that I am 100% a dedicated super hero.  I live, eat and breathe super heroism.  So while I do some relaxation exercises to ease stress, I do not have hobbies.  I don't listen to music, I don't see films, I don't believe in distractions from my sole purpose in life:  to be a super hero.

What are three words that describe you?
Karin:  Timely.  Astute.  Fragrant.

Do you feel that there is sexism in the super hero world?
Karin:  I'm so glad you asked me this question, Jennifer...

It's Jessica.
Karin:  Right, Jessica.  Good for you.  Sexism is a paradigm which exists for sure and it's something that females must face.  That said, it's not something that I have issues with.  I do the best I can at my job and when I'm rescuing someone or defending someone, they don't look at me and say: "Huh, I wonder if that FEMALE shaved her armpits".  They look at me as their ally, their savior, serving them at their time in need.

This questions seems to agitate you.
Karin:  I certainly don't MEAN to be agitated.  It just gets under my skin when people bring this question up.  I focus on the work.  My work is not measured by my chromosomes or my lady parts.  It's measured by merit.  All of the rest is immaterial.

Okay...switching it up a bit.  What do you hope your legacy will be?
Karin:  That is an EXCELLENT question.  And can you make sure that EXCELLENT is in all CAPS?  I like this question a lot.  You're doing a great job, by the way.  When people look back in history at what the SuperTwins! have accomplished, I hope they have a broad understanding of everything that we have done to serve the people of New York City.  Not because we want fame but because we are doing our job and to the highest of our ability.  I take great pride in that.  We are not defined by our sex, by our race, our powers, our species or our  religion.  We are judged by our deeds.

KAI:  Wait, before we start this interview, why won't you go out out on a date with me?
Totally unprofessional.  Let me ask the questions.
KAI:  Okay...

Why do you live in New York?
KAI:  New York is where it's at!  My sister, Karin, the other side of this undynamic duo, lives in New York because she feels it's good for our career.  I live here because I want to explore other interests.  I love the arts.  I'm not just a super hero.  I'm multi-faceted.  Not a dual personality or schizophrenic or anything.  Though I'll admit I'm a little two faced.  I am passionate about creating paintings, sculptures.  If you hadn't noticed, I'm hilarious so I'm doing standup.  I have a lot going on behind the scenes, I'm not just a super hero.

You made it a point to repeatedly tell us how your fro is powerful.  Why is that?
KAI:  I can't really explain it.  People just like my hair.  They come up to me and touch my hair.  It's a great conversation starter.  Honestly, it doesn't have a real power, but it gives me an edge.  I really dig it.  Don't you?

Sure.
KAI:  Look, if I pull back my hair (pulls back hair with hands), I still am incredibly handsome.  But the fro is like whip cream on top!

What do people not know about you?
KAI:  When you first meet me, you might get the impression that I'm kind of an asshole because...I am.  (chuckles)  But I also don't know if people understand how sensitive I am.  I come off assholian for sure but underneath the sarcasm, I have a poetic heart.  I can show you my poetry.  (Takes out paper.)

As I forget about our messes.
